IppStar has taken over and resumed the IPP technology and user conferences that began in 1994. The IPP XI Conference took place in Mumbai in December 2007 in collaboration with the Mumbai Mudrak Sangh. The IPP XII Conference also being organised jointly with the Mumbai Mudrak Sangh will take place on 19 December 2009.

In its initial years, IppStar conducted 19 Open House industry events on subjects ranging from CtP, to newspaper editorial systems, colour management, and paperboard for packaging. In subsequent years, training programs and roundtable events were organised on packaging software and colour management. In July 2009 IppStar will organise Roundtable discussion events around the country for creating awareness of the importance of the ISO-12647-2 process standard for colour printing. These events will take place on 14, 16 and 18 July 2009 in Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai respectively and will involve several international speakers who are ISO committee members from Ugra and other organisations and companies.
