IppStar provides research, training, and consultancy services that include benchmarking, assistance with ISO certifications, quality control and enhancement, and project consultancy. IppStar is currently involved in one consultancy project to establish a totally new in-house prepress facility and another that is meant for quality enhancement and modernisation of an existing printing plant.

IppStar provides to its members testing and calibration services for paper and inks. The resource centre is committed to Colour Management Services with the use of its own hardware, software, testing instruments and in-house expertise. Library, information search, industry survey, software demonstration and training services are available at the centre.
