Quark support for IppStar 28Jan02

In mid January, Quark India's Gyan Prakash handed over QuarkXpress 4.1 Passport software for Macintosh and Windows to the IppStar centre in Noida for use in demonstrations and training. Quark has also made the centre a reseller for its software. The centre is committed to demonstrating all publishing and printing related software from fonts to RIPS. The centre is now able to provide demonstrations of the leading professional layout program as well as serious training for skilled technicians working in prepress and publication companies.
The first application software program is to be held at the centre from January 29 to February 2, on QuarkXpress 4.1. The course will include modules on computer and networking basics, scanning, colour, typography, design, page layout using Quark's typographic, design and production features, and a final module on the publishing environment including proofing and making files ready for output. The IppStar centre's equipment including the Agfa DuoScan HiD and the Epson 7500P proofer will be used during the course.
